For a work PC, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is a good choice because you don't need a dedicated graphics card. As a gaming processor, the Ryzen 5 5600X would be better, as it supports PCIe 4.0.

AMD can certainly be criticised for still relying on the old Vega architecture in the case of a current Zen 3 APU; after all, the Playstation 5 or the Steam Deck, for example, use an RDNA IGP that is far more powerful than a Vega. But since AMD apparently has only limited possibilities to produce enough RDNA chips, the weakest market just goes empty-handed, a logical approach of a profit-oriented company...
