The Pixma G4570 can be described as affordable and powerful. For less than 300 euros, it has an automatic document feeder (ADF) and can print up to 7700 pages with ink. The features are sparse, the display is small, there are no extras such as a closed paper cassette or duplex functions, but there is a fax.
Anyone looking for a printer for the home quickly realises that the price range is huge. The printers tested by Stiftung Warentest range from under 100 to over 1,000 euros. The differences in quality are just as great: while many good printers tested impress with razor-sharp text or brilliant photo prints, others disappoint with blurred, streaky print images, poor contrast or colour errors...

The Pixma G4570 is a really good multifunction printer for frequent printers, which is super affordable and delivers high quality. Also great: the very low power consumption and the automatic document feeder (up to 20 sheets). What could be better? The operating display is quite mini, and the Pixma G4570 makes quite a racket when printing at 18.0 sone.
