Dyson has designed good headphones with the OnTrac. They can sound very powerful but also neutral, have very good noise cancellation and a transparency mode worthy of the name. They can also be worn effortlessly over longer distances. The easily replaceable ear pads are a good idea, the interchangeable end caps a gimmick. Dyson should add Dolby Atmos and make it easier to change devices.
The OnTrac delivered good sound and effective noise-cancelling when tested. The controls are simple and the slim protective cover is pleasing. The interchangeable ear cups and outer caps are a nice extra. However, there is also a lot of competition for 500 euros, such as the Sonos Ace, which came first in the best list.
