The internal focusing system used enables fast, silent autofocus. Focus breathing is minimized to just 0.05 percent, allowing subjects to be followed in a constant frame even when the focus position changes.
The new GF lens is therefore also perfectly suited for videography.
The optical design of the GF30mmF3.5 R WR comprises 13 elements in ten groups, including two aspherical lenses and two ED elements. This reduces chromatic aberrations and ensures excellent imaging performance. The lens can resolve an impressive amount of detail and is compatible with 100 megapixel sensors. This allows the photographer to capture the atmosphere of any scene with impressive realism. This level of detail is ideal for landscape and architectural photography, but also for occasional snapshots on the go.
