As a harmonious mix of technology and tradition, the TX-NR696 adapts to entertainment life and finds emotions in every sound source, whether in the music of 3D movies or in record recordings. The next-generation
network audio uses Chromecast built-in, is compatible with Sonos, AirPlay 2 and DTS Play-Fi, and offers streaming services for smooth multi-room audio thanks to support for the new high-speed 802.11ac (2x2 MIMO) Wi-Fi specification. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immerse the audience in movies and games and THX Certified Select ensures a cinema-like experience. If a 5.2.2-channel setup is not possible, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual:X can create a 3D sound field with a horizontal speaker arrangement. Zone-2 outputs bring the amplified sounds from multiple sources into two rooms, while a flexible New Zone Line Out/Front L/R preamp connector lets you enjoy the sounds as and where you want them. With a revitalized DAA system, 4K/60p/HDR HDMI connectors and many extras, this product is impressive in every way.
