AVM FRITZ.Repeater 6000 WLAN Mesh
2400 Mbit/s, 1200 Mbit/s
Good idea in principle. However, success depends on what is meant by somewhat weak reception. If the reception for the mobile phone is unbearably weak, it is also weak for the Fritz. WLAN extension yes, WLAN amplification no. The Fritz should be installed where the field strength is still good!
Good day Mr XY,
Thank you for your enquiry.
You can use the LAN ports of the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 as you require, i.e. use one as an input and the other as an output.
Kind regards from Berlin

The repeater only works optimally if both frequency bands have the same SSID and the device can decide which is currently the faster one. At least that's how it works for me and that's how I understood the AVM manual. My 5 GHz band is always active (you can also see this in the interface of the FB under Home Network/Mesh).
Kind regards, Gerhard
Type C plug - Euro plug is also OK for Switzerland. - Product works excellently - easy installation.
International has more languages to choose from, but is the same product.
The linked version of the Fritz! repeater 3000 is far too expensive for some reason. Just look for it in the range, because the "normal" version costs only half as much:
AVM FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX International (3600 Mbit/s, 600 Mbit/s)
Compared to this offer, the 6000 model costs about Fr. 50.- If you don't need the 2.5Gbit port, the 3000 model would be a little cheaper.
The "International" version is an imported article which is not actually for the Swiss market, but in this case can still be used here.
The item comes without an adapter and can be connected directly to the mains.
