DisplayPort is a universal connection standard for the transmission of image and sound signals that is widely recognised and appreciated in the computer sector, industry and modern domestic cabling. Applications mainly include the connection of monitors or projectors to computers, notebooks/laptops, ultrabooks, NUCs and similar devices DisplayPort v2.0 supports the HDR standard without compression DP v2.0 can reach a maximum resolution of 8K (7680x4320) @60Hz or 4K (3840x2160) @120Hz. The practical connector design prevents the cable from slipping out of the DisplayPort socket and guarantees stable video transmission.
