- ANC level can be adjusted to the environment
- Excellent call quality
- Does not require a power supply for operation with 3.5 mm cable
- Comprehensive control over EQ in the Shure Play app
- Highest ANC setting causes a kind of suction in the eardrum
- No LDAC support
The Shure Aonic 40 is a worthy competitor to wireless headphones from manufacturers such as Sony and Bose. They offer an overall excellent sound experience and impress with unobtrusive noise cancellation.
- Powerful sound
- long battery life
- Good noise cancelling
- A little quiet in the middle
- slight pressure on the head
- Looks a bit cheap
The Shure Aonic 40 is a successful over-ear with a well-separated soundstage at an upmarket price. The sound pattern can be conveniently adjusted to your own preferences via an app.
- Long battery life
- good wearing comfort
- Multipoint coupling
- Bass range sounds slightly imprecise
Almost 30 hours of battery life, that's quite something. But I also liked the feel of the Aonic 40. Sound, ANC and transparency mode were all right, but others can do better. For the price, it was a decent performance overall.
- Dynamic, natural sound
- Long-lasting battery (> 40 hours)
- Extensive equipment
- Top Bluetooth range
- Light pressure
- Moderate ANC
- Excellent endurance of more than 27 hours
- Very good operability
- Comfortable yet firm fit
- Well-designed app with all essential features
- Powerful mid-range sound
- Multipoint connection
