Product details

Experience movies and series as if you were right in the middle of the action: 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays are even finer in detail than ever before and give you the feeling of seeing real life. An HDR10 signal
is up to 100 times brighter than standard signals (SDR). This increases maximum brightness, but keeps blacks rich and detailed for a whole new viewing experience. Bring scenes to life with fascinating highlights, richer blacks and vibrant colours. Dolby Vision is an HDR solution that delivers an immersive cinema experience within your four walls. Images with Standard Dynamic Range and High Dynamic Range are combined into a single video signal that is played back as SDR on SDR or HDR on HLG-HDR screens. By supporting the new BT.2020 colour space, you benefit from a much wider colour spectrum than conventional TV signals offer. With this comprehensive color space, content providers can create even richer and more realistic colors. Experience 4K HDR movies and additional shading and detail even on TVs that don't offer HDR. HDR-SDR conversion intelligently scales the extremely wide brightness range of HDR to an SDR image. At the same time, the exceptional picture quality is maintained even on conventional SDR televisions. Hear how lightning strikes, sirens howl, and the loud honking of cars around you with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, the leading audio codecs of cinemas. The playback performance of the UBP-X800M2 exceeds the quality of 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs many times over. You can watch, hear or stream almost anything. This includes most HD videos and high-resolution audio formats as well as the most popular streaming services.

Stiftung Warentest13 Blu-Ray-Spieler 06/2021ReleaseMay 2021
