You can tell that the Xperia 1 VI comes from Sony in many areas. And that is meant in a positive way, as the device definitely focuses on photography and video. We really liked the newly developed photo app and the Creator functions. The possible link to Alpha cameras is also practical. For example, you can use the smartphone as an extra monitor.

The Xperia 1 VI is certainly not a standard mobile phone. The camera is certainly appealing with its optical zoom, autofocus and macro shots, but the non-slip and textured back is particularly memorable. Whether all this justifies a price of 1,400 euros is questionable, however...
