The Tamron is compact, lightweight and has a high-quality finish. Performance in the test was excellent in terms of resolution and AF speed.
The compactness is also based on the lack of an image stabiliser. Unfortunately, not all APS-C Sony cameras have their own anti-shake system.
The new Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD combines an exceptional focal length range that calls for creative image composition with high performance. In view of the excellent test results as well as the very good workmanship, the price is quite fair.
