Product details
The UniFi UAP-nanoHD is equipped with the Wave 2 standard and can reach speeds of up to 1733 Mbps on 5GHz and 300 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. With 4x4 MU-MIMO and the popular UniFi controller software, it
is the ideal high-performance access point for a scalable, centrally managed network. The non-dedicated UniFi software controller can be deployed on a local PC, Mac or Linux computer, in a private cloud or via a public cloud service.
Compact and unobtrusive
The UniFi nanoHD AP has a sophisticated industrial design and can be easily installed on the wall or ceiling using the supplied mounting hardware. It has a particularly flat form factor and measures only 16 cm in diameter. With the individual skins (available separately), the AP fits even more discreetly into any environment. It operates with an 802.3af PoE compliant switch and is compatible with all UniFi PoE switches and 48V PoE adapters.
Ubiquiti UniFi
UniFi is a professional WLAN controller solution that enables central management of large wireless networks. In addition to the creation of so-called vouchers, which allow access to the Internet for a limited period of time, safety-relevant functions such as Walled Garden, guest network isolation, VLAN or detailed analysis options are also included. The software's dashboard provides you with an overview of all important and up-to-date information about your network at all times.
802.11ac Wave 2 technology
The original 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology allowed access points of past generations to communicate with only one client at a time. The new 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology (multi-user, multiple input, multiple output) now makes it possible to communicate with multiple clients simultaneously, which has a very positive effect on WLAN performance and user experience.
Ubiquiti Networks
Ubiquiti Networks is an American manufacturer of high-performance network components. Ubiquiti's goal is to provide state-of-the-art and easy-to-implement communications solutions to a global customer base. The company was founded in 2005 and initially manufactured WLAN adapters for PCs. Later, the range was extended to include devices such as WLAN routers, especially for outdoor use. Meanwhile, the company also manufactures switches and surveillance cameras. Ubiquiti products generally impress with their superior performance, clever mechanical design and simple operation.
