The Crossfade 2 Wireless Codex Edition is a hybrid headphone with nearly identical sound in Bluetooth and analog-only wired modes. It features Qualcomm aptX for CD-quality Bluetooth sound, Advanced Audio
Codec (AAC) for optimal sound on iOS devices, and Universal Sub-Band Codec (SBC). In wired mode, inserting a cable plug into the headphone jack disables all electronic aids for latency-free playback - essential for gamers and professionals. Driven by 50mm dual-diaphragm drivers including high-resolution "Made in Japan" CCAW coils, the Crossfade 2 has been certified by the Japan Audio Society (JAS) with the Hi-Res Audio standard in cable mode. In addition, the large ear cushions provide ergonomic comfort even during extended listening sessions. In combination, the cushions and the SteelFlex headband adapt to the shape of the head and ears, creating perfect, natural noise isolation.
