by an epoxy laminate. The result: an extremely light skimboard. A plus point is the significantly higher buoyancy compared to boards without a foam core. With this technology underfoot, real skimboarding is just beginning. With the same swing you slide at least three times as far as with conventional wooden boards. This is how you get your first waves. Skimboarding at this level is just as fascinating as surfing. The only difference is that skimboarding is also fun when there are no waves.
Note: Due to the construction, minor unevenness in the finish of these epoxy skimboards with handmade wooden inserts are normal, but they do not affect the function in any way.
