With the Moka espresso maker, architect and designer David Chipperfield has taken up a classic design: the mocha coffee or espresso maker. The octagonal device was already designed by Alfonso Bialetti
in 1935 and marketed as an Italian design icon from 1945. The Moka by David Chipperfield is a deliberate and subtle update of the classic Bialetti.
